Every learner’s path looks different, and Lulu’s journey is a beautiful example of what can happen when education works with a family’s goals and priorities.

After starting her education in a traditional setting, Lulu’s family made a shift to virtual learning, and it changed everything.

We spoke with Lulu’s mom, Jeannette, about their experience and the impact it’s had on Lulu’s growth.

What led your family to choose LifeTech Academy?

Lulu had been sent home from kindergarten during the pandemic and continued learning online the following year. When it came time to decide what to do next, her family had a choice: return to a traditional classroom or continue with virtual learning.

Because Lulu was doing so well in a virtual environment, the decision felt clear.

A friend had recently discovered LifeTech Academy, and it quickly became an easy next step for their family.

How has Lulu grown since starting virtual learning?

“Lulu has absolutely thrived since starting virtual learning,” Jeannette shared.

“It lowered her anxiety to learn at home and on our terms,” Jeannette explained. “She’s also been able to explore her interest in 3D modeling in a way that’s really grown both her skill and confidence.”

With that confidence came curiosity, and Lulu began discovering new passions.

What interests has Lulu been able to explore?

Lulu’s learning experience has allowed her to dive deeper into areas she enjoys.

“She was active in the coding club, which gave her a strong foundation,” Jeannette said. “From there, she developed an interest in animation.”

Now, Lulu continues to build on those interests through engaging, hands-on classes.

“The program continues to foster this through fun and interactive classes like Animation and Design.”

How has flexibility impacted your family?

For Lulu’s family, flexibility has been one of the most meaningful parts of the experience.

“We don’t keep a traditional schedule, so this model really suits us,” Jeannette shared.

“We work from home, and we like to travel, so everything works nicely together for us.”

What stands out most about this learning experience?

“Different learners and families have unique needs,” Jeannette said. “Having the ability to create a schedule that works for you has been incredible.”

A Path That Fits

Lulu’s story is a meaningful example of what can happen when learning is designed to support the individual.

When learners are given the space to grow in ways that feel natural to them, confidence builds, interests deepen, and new possibilities begin to take shape.

What could this kind of learning make possible for your family?
